Will wallpaper engine slow down your gaming pc. Maybe because ive used live wallpapers in the past and every time a client opened up the wallpaper paused so it can reduce my ram and cpu usage. But using wallpaper does use resources also having too many shortcuts on your desktop can slow down your machine a bit because no matter what you are looking at on your screen your wallpaper and shortcuts are still being generated by your graphics card.
