Most of the time it might damage the paint but it should only rarely damage the drywall.

Ive removed three different types of peel and stick wallpapers. While they are designed for you to be able to remove them without damaging paint we cant guarantee uniform environmental factors highly extreme temperatures incredibly textured surfaces which could potentially cause issues with the paint. Self adhesive wallpaper should not damage your surfaces as long as you follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
